SZA in Workout Gear Says There's "Joy Worth Finding"
SZA is living her best life – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the singer shows off her amazing body in workout clothes and a swimsuit in a curated series of snaps taken while on vacation. "Don't let them fool you . There's still life worth living and joy worth finding," she captioned the Instagram post. "Tthe prettiest face," commented one of her followers. "It's always u for me 😍" commented Latto. What does SZA eat? "[I] really don't know a name for it lmao," she responded to a fan asking about what diet she follows. "No red meat (mostly fish), no dairy, no wheat no sugar…high veggie…complex carbs only (squash, avocado, sweet potato etc.), hella water [dassit]," she added in the tweet.
SZA works out for an hour and fifteen minutes – sometimes two – every day, she added in the Tweet. To get her sweat on she says that she needs a "green tea" along with a "hittin'" playlist.
In one of the photos from her Instagram post, SZA is paddleboarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio. The water sport can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.
SZA enjoys walking. "I hit the forest, or I hit the park, or I do a lot of walks, a lot of exercises," she told Billboard. Why should you go for a stroll? One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
SZA enjoys the mental health benefits of meditation. "Sitting still and meditating is a component for me, but it's not my key component. I need to be outside amongst trees, and among anything nature-based. I'll drive really far to get there and I don't mind," she told Billboard.
